Recap: Mosley Dolphins vs. Chiles Timberwolves
The Mosley Dolphins and the Chiles Timberwolves squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but sadly the Mosley Dolphins had to settle for second. They took a 42-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberwolves. Mosley's defeat continues an unfortunate trend for the team, making it four in a row.
Chiles' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Macey Hartman, who scored eight points along with five rebounds. Hartman is trending in the right direction, as she's improved her point production for three games straight. Lainey Crisafulli was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Mosley has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-10 record this season. As for Chiles, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-11.
Mosley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chiles, they will head out on the road to square off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Lincoln is coming into the matchup with eight straight victories at home, meaning Chiles will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
