Volleyball Recap: Glenelg Country Beats St. Mary's for Their Third Straight Victory

Glenelg Country entered their tilt with St. Mary on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Saints. The Dragons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

The final score came out to 25-21, 17-25, 25-14, 25-13.

Kristina Melton paced Glenelg Country's offense, picking up 16 kills. Melton got some help from Simone Hendricks and her 29 assists. Kennedy Cummins controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The win got Glenelg Country back to even at 3-3. As for St. Mary's, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Glenelg Country will head out on the road to square off against Maret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Mary's, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Bryn Mawr at 5:15 p.m.
