Football Game Preview: Drumright Tornadoes vs. Yale Bulldogs

The Drumright Tornadoes will head out to take on the Yale Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Drumright will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Drumright played against Porum on Thursday and won via forfeit.

On Thursday, Yale didn't have too much trouble with Depew as they won 32-16. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Hornets recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Yale's win came from a few key players Drumright will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kaden Teter, who threw for 233 yards and one TD while completing 78.3% of his passes. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in October of 2024.

Yale's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB seven times. The heavy lifting was done by Ben Whitsett and Levi Benjamin, who racked up four sacks between them. Whitsett is also on a roll when it comes to total tackles, as he's now made five or more in each of the last 11 games he's played dating back to last season.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Drumright, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Drumright was taken down by Yale 28-0 in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Tornadoes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
