Recap: Spring Valley Grizzlies vs. Mojave Rattlers
The Spring Valley Grizzlies had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Mojave by a score of 79-72 on Saturday. The victory was just what Spring Valley needed coming off of a 72-45 loss in their prior match.
It was another big night for Alijah Adem, who scored 23 points along with seven assists and six rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jamo Mccall, who scored 14 points.
Spring Valley's win bumped their record up to 4-12. As for Mojave, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-9 record this season.
Spring Valley will be playing at home against Durango at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Durango is ranked 56th, while Spring Valley is ranked 38th). As for Mojave, they will head out on the road to square off against Valley at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Valley is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
