Baseball Recap: Bland Comes Up Short

Bland lost to Cooper on Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 11-1. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bland's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Cooper, they pushed their record up to 10-1-1 with the win, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Bland will head out to challenge Campbell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season. As for Cooper, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Celeste at 6:30 p.m. on the 27th.
