Basketball Recap: Oswego Extends Winning Streak to Five

Oswego came tearing into Friday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 30 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Altoona-Midway Jets by a score of 55-47. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 59-56 loss the last time these two teams met.

Oswego's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Owen Jackson led the charge by putting up 18 points and eight rebounds. The matchup was Jackson's third in a row with at least ten points. Josh Hutchinson was another key player, posting eight points in addition to 13 boards and six assists.

Oswego smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
