Basketball Recap: Proctor Comes Up Short

Proctor came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by the Esko Eskomos and fell 85-45. If the Rails were looking for revenge after losing 83-42 to the Eskomos when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Proctor dropped their record down to 1-5 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road defeats can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.6 points over those games. As for Esko, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

Proctor will take on Rock Ridge co-op [Eveleth-Gilbert/Virginia] in a holiday battle at 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Esko, they will be home for the holidays to greet Mora at 1:15 p.m. on Friday.
