Baseball Recap: New Lima Takes a Loss

New Lima came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Varnum Whippets, falling 24-8. The Falcons were not able to make up for their loss to the Whippets from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

New Lima's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Varnum, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Varnum beat New Lima by a score of 23-9 later that day.
