Basketball Recap: Warwick Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Warwick waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Garden Spot Spartans by a score of 66-58. Given the Warriors' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while the Spartans are ranked 514th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Warwick pushed their record up to 11-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Garden Spot, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Warwick will venture away from home to face off against Elizabethtown at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. As for Garden Spot, they will head out on the road to challenge Conestoga Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
