Heritage Christian waltzed into their contest on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They put the hurt on the Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders with a sharp 70-46 victory. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Eagles had established a 20-point advantage.

Heritage Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Trinity Taylor led the charge by dropping a double-double with 11 points and 20 rebounds. What's more, Taylor posted three steals, the most she's had since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Elyse Snively, who went 7-for-13 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points.

Heritage Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in ten consecutive games dating back to last season.

Heritage Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, they dropped their record down to 2-6 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Heritage Christian will take on Indianapolis Bishop Chatard at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Christel House at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
