Basketball Recap: Continental Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Continental had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 47-40 victory over the Ada Bulldogs. This was payback for the Pirates, who suffered a 52-16 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Continental to victory, but perhaps none more so than Morgan Shock, who went 5-for-8 en route to 16 points. Makenzie Shock was another key player, putting up ten points and six steals.

Continental's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Ada, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Continental will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Miller City at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2026. As for Ada, they will finish 2025 at home by hosting Elgin at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
