Basketball Recap: Moscow Takes a Loss

Moscow was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 59-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lakeland Hawks. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-50 two weeks ago.

Moscow's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Lakeland, they now have a winning record of 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Moscow has already played their next matchup (against Sandpoint), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lakeland will head out to face off against Bonners Ferry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Bonners Ferry's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
