Mt. Ararat entered their tilt with Hampden on Thursday with seven consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with eight. They enjoyed a cozy 54-37 victory over the Broncos. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hampden lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Grace Labree, who shot 71% from the field on her way to 10 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Shaw, who posted nine points and five boards.

Mt. Ararat's win bumped their record up to 15-1. As for Hampden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-4 record this season.
