Baseball Recap: Agua Fria Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Agua Fria's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 15-0 to the Prescott Badgers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Owls in their meetings with the Badgers: they've now lost three in a row.

Agua Fria's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Prescott, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Agua Fria is taking a road trip to face off against Cactus at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give Agua Fria their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Prescott, they will host Coconino at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Coconino has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
