Baseball Recap: Lawson Lightning vs. Creek Wood Red Hawks
Lawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Creek Wood Red Hawks, falling 11-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-2 on Monday.
Lawson got a good showing from Harper Schneiderman, who pitched three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit.
On the hitting side, Lawson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was C.J. Thornton, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
