Brandon Valley came tearing into Friday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Douglas Patriots. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in August.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Brandon Valley took both sets by at least 13 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-11.

Brandon Valley's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Douglas, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matchups. That's still a better percentage than their 7-22 record this season.
