Soccer Recap: Eaton Takes a Loss

Eaton managed to keep up with Milton-Union until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Eagles came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Eaton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 482nd, while Milton-Union are ranked 217th).

Eaton's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Milton-Union, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-2-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eaton will host Waynesville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Milton-Union, they will challenge Troy Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Milton-Union's defense better be ready for this one: Troy Christian have averaged an impressive 3.6 goals per game this season.
