Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association came tearing into  Thursday's  match with ten straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   6-2  win over Memphis Home Education Association. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by  exactly four  runs.
 Pierson GOODMAN and  Collin FELTS did most of the damage at the plate:  GOODMAN  got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI, while  FELTS  got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with one  stolen base and one  run. FELTS is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.  Josiah PULLING was another key player,  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances with one  run and one  RBI.
 Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association  hit smart and  finished the game with only one  strikeout. The team has now struck out at least four batters  in three consecutive  games.
Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association's victory bumped their record up to 17-6-1. As for Memphis Home Education Association, they now  have a losing record of 13-14-1.
 Looking ahead, Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association will challenge Wake County HomeSchool at 9:00  a.m.  on Friday. The Patriots' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 6.9  runs per game this season. Memphis Home Education Association does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
