Their defense stepped up to hand La Pine an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. The result was nothing new for Central Linn, who have now won six matchups by four goals or more so far this season.

Elmira's loss dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Central Linn, their victory bumped their record up to 10-1-2.
