Volleyball Game Preview: Red Mountain Mountain Lions vs. Mountain View Toros + Official Tickets

Red Mountain hasn't had much luck against Mountain View recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Mountain Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Toros at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Red Mountain made easy work of Dobson and carried off a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Red Mountain was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-9, 25-14.

Red Mountain's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ella Sullivan led the charge by getting 15 digs and two aces. Sullivan has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times she's played. Lacy Dairman was another key player, getting seven digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, Mountain View earned a 3-1 victory over Skyline on Tuesday.

Mountain View has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-10 record this season. As for Red Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 21-15.
