Soccer Game Preview: Scottsboro vs. Fort Payne

Scottsboro is 0-5 against Fort Payne since March of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. Scottsboro will face off against Fort Payne at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Scottsboro is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Douglas on Friday. Scottsboro took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Douglas.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Wildcats on Saturday. Fort Payne lost 4-1 to Enterprise. Fort Payne has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Scottsboro suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Fort Payne in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Can Scottsboro avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
