Baseball Recap: Beekman Charter Comes Up Short

If Beekman Charter was riding high fresh off their 17-0 takedown of Summerfield on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers lost 12-2 to the Ouachita Christian Eagles on Saturday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Beekman Charter saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jackson Stewart, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one double.

Beekman Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Ouachita Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5-1 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Beekman Charter will welcome Delhi Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ouachita Christian, they will host Cedar Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
