Recap: Manson vs. Soap Lake
Manson won the last time they faced Soap Lake, and things went their way on Friday, too. Manson were fully in charge, breezing past Soap Lake 40-0. Manson was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Sophomore Caden Beazley, who caught passes for 154 yards and picked up 73 yards on the ground, was a major factor in the success. Senior Avery Thompson was in the mix, too, providing Manson with 3 touchdowns. This was the first game for both teams, giving Manson a 1-0 record and starting Soap Lake off at 0-1.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Manson will be defending their home turf for the first time next week when they go up against Oroville at 7:00 PM. As for Soap Lake, they will face off against Yakama Nation Tribal.
