Volleyball Recap: Wonderful College Prep Academy Comes Up Short on the Road Against Paso Robles

Wonderful College Prep Academy kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the Paso Robles Bearcats, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12, 25-12.

Merari Silva paced Wonderful College Prep Academy's offense, picking up three kills. Silva got some help from Estefanny Martinez and her five assists. Finally, Daniela Flores kept Wonderful College Prep Academy's defense grounded, leading the team with two blocks.

The victory got Paso Robles back to even at 1-1.

Wonderful College Prep Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-2 win against Legacy Christian Academy on the 19th. Paso Robles has also already played their next matchup (against Arroyo Grande), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
