Volleyball Recap: Righetti Triumphs

Immanuel typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Righetti proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles, sneaking past 2-1. The Warriors have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (58-54) Righetti actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 14-25, 25-21, 15-12.

The victory made it two in a row for Righetti and bumps their season record up to 12-8. As for Immanuel, their loss ended an eight-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-7.

Looking ahead, Righetti will take on Sanger West at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Immanuel, they will welcome Sunnyside at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
