The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2022.

Twinsburg was led to victory by Kayla Cellura and Taylor Dye. Cellura went 7-for-11 to rack up 17 points and six boards, while Dye went 7-for-9 on her way to 16 points. The dominant performance also gave Dye a new career-high in shooting accuracy (78%). Another player making a difference was Mackenzie Sweeney, who posted nine points.

Steele's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Twinsburg, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-7.
