Rosa Fort extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Robert Boyd. The Lions walked away with a 62-49 victory over the Palmer Dragons on Saturday with plenty of help from Boyd, who posted 30 points. His afternoon made it six games in a row in which he has scored at least 17 points.

Another player making a difference was Tristan Pendleton, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and ten rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Rosa Fort's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Palmer, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rosa Fort will face off against Ripley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Palmer, they will host West Tallahatchie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
