Softball Recap: Thomas Jefferson Comes Up Short

Thomas Jefferson lost against Haynes Academy back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Thomas Jefferson fell 12-9 to Haynes Academy.

Micah Williams made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Ava Pastor, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Thomas Jefferson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. The victory got Haynes Academy back to even at 2-2.

Looking ahead, Thomas Jefferson will head out on the road to square off against Jefferson RISE Charter at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Haynes Academy, they will square off against Fisher at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
