Preview: McLaurin Tigers vs. Enterprise Bulldogs
The McLaurin Tigers will be playing at home against the Enterprise Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. McLaurin has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 28.
McLaurin suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Tuesday. They were outmatched by Southeast Lauderdale at home and fell 59-23.
Meanwhile, Enterprise came up short against Kemper County on Tuesday and fell 42-34. While losing is never fun, Enterprise can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Mississippi basketball rankings (they are ranked 226th, while Kemper County is ranked 101st).
Makayla Sullivan put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored 19 points along with five rebounds.
McLaurin has been struggling recently, as they've lost 12 of their last 13 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-17 record this season. As for Enterprise, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
