Basketball Recap: Smithville Piles Up the Points Against Leflore

Smithville had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They breezed past the Leflore Savages to the tune of 74-37. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Smithville's win was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-1. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.6 points over those games. As for Leflore, their loss dropped their record down to 6-20.

As of now, neither Smithville nor Leflore have any future games scheduled.
