Football Recap: Ansley/Litchfield Spartans vs. Silver Lake Mustangs
The Ansley/Litchfield Spartans lost 34-14 to the Silver Lake Mustangs on Friday.
Lane Conway was a one-man wrecking crew for Silver Lake as he threw for 158 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 passes, and also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. That's the most total yards Conway has posted since back in August of 2023. Jaxon Tenbensel was another key player, gaining 84 total yards and a touchdown.
Ansley/Litchfield's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Silver Lake, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
