Softball Recap: St. Clair County Comes Up Short

St. Clair County managed to slip by Etowah the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Fighting Saints lost 10-2 to the Blue Devils on Monday. The Fighting Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Clair County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jayla Bass, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

St. Clair County's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Etowah, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

St. Clair County will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jacksonville at 5:00 p.m. on March 5. Etowah has already played their next contest (against Cherokee County), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
