Preview: Carroll vs. Perry
Given their disadvantage in the MaxPreps state rankings, Perry should expect quite the challenge on Friday. They will challenge Carroll on the road at 7:00 PM. Perry are limping into the contest on a six-game losing streak.
Perry suffered a grim 14-42 defeat to Webster City last Friday. Perry were down by 14-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Meanwhile, Carroll got themselves on the board against Boone, but Boone never followed suit. Everything came up roses for Carroll against Boone as the team secured a 36-0 victory. The high-flying offensive effort was a definite turnaround from Carroll's flat performance the matchup before.
Carroll's win lifted them to 3-4 while Perry's loss dropped them down to 0-6. We'll find out if Carroll can add another positive mark to their record or if Perry can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Carroll's step.
