Soccer Game Preview: Information Tech vs. Springfield Gardens

Information Tech will take on the Springfield Gardens Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Information Tech's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Information Tech is looking to pick up the season's first win, something they couldn't quite do against Queens Tech last Wednesday. Neither Information Tech nor Queens Tech could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Springfield Gardens kept a clean sheet against Maspeth on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 1-0 win over the Argos. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Springfield Gardens.

With that draw, Information Tech's record moves to 0-2-1. As for Springfield Gardens, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Information Tech suffered a grim 8-0 defeat to Springfield Gardens when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Can Information Tech avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
