Baseball Recap: Timberline Drops Season-High Score on Mount Tahoma

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Timberline). They put the hurt on the Mount Tahoma T-Birds with a sharp 24-1 win on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Blazers with their most commanding win of the season.

The victory (which was Timberline's third in a row) raised their record to 9-8-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.3 runs over those games. As for Mount Tahoma, they dropped their record down to 3-14 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Timberline will host Bellarmine Prep at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mount Tahoma, they will square off against North Thurston at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the T-Birds surely won't give up without a fight.
