Basketball Recap: Annapolis Christian Academy Comes Up Short at Home Against Santa Gertrudis Academy

Annapolis Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 75-44 loss at the hands of the Santa Gertrudis Academy Lions. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Warriors have suffered since December 26, 2024.

Annapolis Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jeremiah Cavazos, who posted 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Riojas, who scored ten points and seven boards.

Looking ahead, Annapolis Christian Academy is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Miller on Tuesday. As for Santa Gertrudis Academy, they will face off against King at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
