Recap: Harding Prep vs. Purcell Dragons
Monday just wasn't the day for Harding Prep's offense. They wound up on the wrong side of a rough 10-0 walloping at the hands of the Purcell Dragons on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, Harding Prep's shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
For Purcell's part, Parker Page was excellent, scoring a run while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Jett Tyler, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.
Harding Prep's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Purcell, their win bumped their record up to 6-15.
Harding Prep will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Tuttle at 5:00 p.m. As for Purcell, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Classen SAS at 5:00 p.m.
