Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Thomas Worthington). They breezed by the Walnut Ridge Scots to the tune of 63-21 on Monday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the CARDINALS as it put an end to their six-game losing streak.

Thomas Worthington's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Walnut Ridge, they dropped their record down to 9-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.

Thomas Worthington will venture away from home to take on Marysville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Walnut Ridge, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-43 loss against West Jefferson on the 5th.
