Springfield's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks with a sharp 3-0 victory. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Springfield now has a winning record of 3-2. As for St. Helena College and Career Academy, their loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Springfield will square off against rival St. Thomas Aquinas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, St. Helena College and Career Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Doyle at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
