They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-7 victory over the William Penn Bearcats on Monday. The win was just what Dover needed coming off of a 9-3 loss in their prior contest.

David Crone Jr. made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Crone Jr. was also stellar in the batter's box, going 4-for-4 with two doubles, a triple, and a stolen base.

In other batting news, Ryan Mitchell was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Chase Ferguson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
