Basketball Game Preview: Elkhart Christian Academy Eagles vs. Culver Community Cavaliers

Elkhart Christian Academy has gone a perfect 3-0 against Culver Community recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Eagles will get right back to it and host the Cavaliers at 7:00 p.m. Elkhart Christian Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.8 points per game this season.

On Friday, Elkhart Christian Academy was fully in charge, breezing past Lakeland Christian Academy 57-24. The team accrued 43 points in the first half and coasted on those for the victory.

Reid Hoober was his usual excellent self, shooting 60% from the field to rack up 22 points. Thanks to that strong game, he now owns an excellent 49.1% shooting accuracy. The team also got some help courtesy of Ace Haviland, who posted five points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Culver Community played a tough matchup on Saturday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 58-38 to West Central.

Culver Community dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Elkhart Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything came up roses for Elkhart Christian Academy against Culver Community in their previous meeting back in March, as the team secured a 63-32 victory. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Cavaliers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
