Pinole Valley had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They secured a 62-56 W over the Santa Cruz Cardinals. With that victory, the Spartans brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Ahmari Otis had a dynamite game for Pinole Valley, going 10 for 21 on his way to 29 points and five rebounds. Jaylin Reed was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and 13 boards.
