Soccer Game Preview: Arroyo vs. Berkeley

Arroyo hasn't had much luck against Berkeley recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Dons will challenge the Yellowjackets at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Arroyo is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand San Lorenzo a 12-0 shutout on Friday. It was an even better day for Eric Ocampo as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Berkeley waltzed into their match on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 1-0 W against the Trojans. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Berkeley were the better team in the second half.

Arroyo's record is now 8-5-4. As for Berkeley, their record now sits at 11-2-2.

Arroyo might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Berkeley when the teams last played back in January of 2025. Can the Dons avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
