Softball Recap: Poca Wins Going Away Against Braxton County

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Poca brought some dynamite into their most recent matchup. They were the clear victors by a 13-1 margin over the Braxton County Eagles on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Dots as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Braxton County, their loss was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-14.

Poca wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 4-3 defeat against Calhoun on the 22nd. As for Braxton County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 15-0 loss against South Harrison on the 22nd.
