Ryle and Dixie Heights are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2017, but likely not for long. Ryle will be playing in front of their home fans against Dixie Heights at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Ryle is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Scott 8-2 on Thursday. The Raiders haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Dixie Heights ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out Lexington Christian 9-7. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Colonels.

Owen Stulz was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-5. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Gentry Messmer, who went 2-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Ryle pushed their record up to 3-2-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Dixie Heights, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Ryle came out on top in a nail-biter against Dixie Heights in their previous matchup back in June of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Will Ryle repeat their success, or does Dixie Heights has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
