Baseball Recap: De La Salle Collegiate Find Success

De La Salle Collegiate barely beat Warren Woods-Tower the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Pilots never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory on Friday. The Pilots have beaten the Titans the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Titans has come to flipping the script.

De La Salle Collegiate got a great performance from Dylan Luepke as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts Luepke has posted since back in April.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Vito Zito, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double. Pashk Daka also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

De La Salle Collegiate always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

De La Salle Collegiate's record now sits at 23-9. As for Warren Woods-Tower, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-23.
