Volleyball Recap: Raytown Takes a Loss

It was a Battle of the Birds when Raytown challenged Grain Valley on Tuesday. The Bluejays came up short against the Eagles, falling 3-0. The Bluejays have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-13, 25-9.

Raytown's loss dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Grain Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7-1 record this season.

Raytown didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 defeat against Guadalupe Centers on the 30th. As for Grain Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Ruskin on the 1st.
