Elida had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Lima Senior Spartans. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered an 8-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Elida saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan McGue, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Elida's win bumped their record up to 12-9. As for Lima Senior, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Elida will head out to challenge McComb at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lima Senior, they will be playing at home against Celina at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Spartans are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
