There's no place like home for Mountlake Terrace, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Wednesday. They managed a 44-40 victory over the Edmonds-Woodway Warriors on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Hawks as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Mountlake Terrace's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jordyn Stokes led the charge by putting up 17 points and four steals. Those 17 points gave Stokes a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaliyah Dyson, who posted 13 points and five steals.

Mountlake Terrace smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Mountlake Terrace's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Edmonds-Woodway, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
