After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Williamstown, Webster County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Braxton County Eagles as they made off with an 11-3 victory. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Webster County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-11. As for Braxton County, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-17.

Looking ahead, Webster County is taking a road trip to challenge Greenbrier West at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Braxton County, they will welcome Calhoun at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Red Devils have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
